IceTastic was started on the corner of Mississippi and Roberts on the South Side of Fort Worth. A folding table, large plastic storage bin, and a handwritten menu on a dry erase board to serve the local community which has and continues to be largely affected by youth violence. Chips, a variety of candy bars, cold drinks and snacks, but most importantly the need for a establishment that serves the community regardless of surrounding elements. So a call to action was answered and a business was envisioned.
